Countryside's Sunday School
Our Sunday School program for children -- kids (2nd-5th), youth (6th-8th), and high school (9th-12th) -- offers age-appropriate instruction each week. At the heart of this instruction is a group of loving adults committed to helping kids learn about God in an enjoyable way. The emphasis of hands-on learning ensures that kids understand the Bible and Christian life in ways that make sense to them. Our experience is that these lessons hit home every week.
How do we know that? From parents who tell us about kids who can't wait for Sunday, and from kids who keep coming back with smiles on their faces.
We look forward to welcoming your children on Sundays at 9:30am.

Children's Church
Kids age 2 through 5th grade start out with the adults in the Worship Service at 10:30am. At about 10:45am, they are dismissed to their own service in the Annex next door. The program includes music and a message geared for their age; often there's even a puppet show! (There is nursery provided for the littlest ones (infants to 2 years) in the basement of the Sanctuary during the service.)
Wednesday Night Activities
Kid's Bible Club for grades 2-5 and Youth Bible Study for 6th grade through high school begins at 6:30pm with music and games, and rounds out the evening with a lesson from the Bible, ending at 7:45pm.
Youth Annex Activities on Friday Nights
The Youth (grade 6 through high school) frequently get together on Fridays from 7:30pm to 9:30pm to hang out and enjoy one another. From ice-skating to remote control car races to board game marathons--activities are only limited by their imaginations. And don't worry, it's all supervised by enthusiastic adults who want to encourage and guide young people to become committed, caring Christian adults. Check out the Events or Calendar page, or call the church office for upcoming activities: 301-490-5737; or email at: cfcmdyouth@verizon.net.
